Choco-Story Museum
If chocolate is your passion then a visit to Bruges' 'Choco-Story' is essential. Learn all about the history of this delicacy, see the chocolate making process, discover why Belgian chocolate is so famous, and then enjoy a sample or two! Gay & Lesbian Pride
Brussels Pride started out as Pink Saturday in the 1980s and is now the starting point of the gay and lesbian summer.
Around 20,000 people march through the Belgian capital in the main parade, which starts from the Bourse at 2pm. Supporting events include a Gay and Lesbian Village in and around rue St Jacques followed by the Rainbow Party at the Ancienne Belgique in the evening.

Diamond Divas Exhibition
Antwerp's Diamond Museum hosts Diamond Divas, a dazzling exhibition displaying gems, from bracelets and necklaces to tiaras, worn by cinema and theatre legends including Marilyn Monroe, Gloria Swanson and Doris Duke.

The famous Moon of Baroda necklace, worn by Marilyn Monroe at the première screening of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, is one of the highlights of the exhibition.

The exhibition opens on April 11th and will run through to June 8th 2008, daily 10am to 5.30pm (until 10pm on Thursday).

Musée d'Orsay Pass
Paris' most outstanding art collection is housed behind the stone facade of the Musee d'Orsay. The focus of the collections are the electrifying Impressionist works which include the majority of Claude Monet's paintings. Entrance tickets are valid daily.

Paris By Night Tour
The Paris by Night Illumination tour takes an evening route around the famous monuments and avenues which are beautifully lit up. Sights include the Champs Elysees, the Opera Garnier, Pigalle and the Arc de Triomphe. The Paris museum and monument pass offers entry to over 70 of Paris' most renowned sights, galleries and museums. Opened in 1984, the Wine Museum in Paris is a cultural centre which aims to display the richness and diversity of France's winemaking heritage. Chateau Fontainebleau
If you want to enjoy an historical trip out of Paris then take an escorted tour to the stunning Chateau of Fontainebleau, which for eight centuries was one of the preffered residences of the Kings of France and Napoleon. The architecture, décor and period furniture is one of the richest in France, which in combination with the immense gardens, offers a vivid insight into French history.

On the way to Fontainebleau you will stop at the picturesque village of Barbizon, an artistic centre immortalised in paintings by Millet, Rousseau and Corot.

Hop on Hop off Bus Pass
A fantastic way to see Paris at your leisure. The Cars Rouges Hop on Hop Off Bus takes a route around the major sights and allows you to hop on and hop off at any of the 9 stops .

Palais Garnier Tours
Allegedly the haunting ground of the Phantom of the Opera, this stunning building opens its doors daily for both guided and unguided visits. Commissioned by Napoleon III in 1861, Charles Garnier´s building is a perfect example of 19th century stage architecture, which hides its iron frame under the flamboyant decoration for which it is so renowned

Now home to the Opera de Paris, and the National Ballet, the building is open to the public daily from 10am to 16.30. Guided tours in English are available every Saturday & Sunday at 12.30, duration 1hr30 mins. If you can´t get to see one of the performances here, then this is a close second.

Bastille Day
Liberté, Egalité and Fraternité! And this is where it all began – on the 14th July 1789 the Paris mob attacked the hated Bastille fortress, released the prisoners, heralded the start of the Revolution …and began a tradition of the biggest street party in the French calendar!

Parades, parties and fireworks characterise the modern Bastille Day. Celebrations run from the 13th, culminating in the grand fireworks display on the Champs de Mars on the 14th. Come and join the party with a break below!

St Bavo's Cathedral
St Bavo's Cathedral in Ghent is a stunning church overlooking St Bavo's square. Its gothic architecture is combined with a Romanesque crypt, and houses many works of art, including 'The Mystic Lamb' by the Van Eyck brothers, one of the most famous works in Flemish art. The Cathedral is open daily and is free of charge. The Christening Chapel is 3 euros per person.
